Parsons Green Dental Practice has been serving the local Fulham, Chelsea and Parsons Green community for over 35 years.

Patrick Ethrington started the Parsons Green Dental Practice over 34 years ago, while Claire Jones has been the Practice Manager for almost as long! Below is some information about the rest of the team so you can be sure that you are in good hands.
Dr. Patrick Etherington
Patrick qualified from Manchester University in 1970. He first worked at Westminster & Queen Mary’s Hospital before joining a top West End practice. He then bought his own practice in South London.1977 saw a move to Australia. Patrick initially owned a practice in Melbourne but later swapped the relative civility of Victoria to become a Flying Dentist in the “Top-End” of Australia. After this he spent a year travelling in the Far East.

Meera is dedicated to delivering top-quality dentistry, with a strong focus on ensuring her patients are comfortable and at ease. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017, and furthered her education with an MSc in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute, graduating with distinction. In addition, she offers Invisalign orthodontic treatment. Continuously enhancing her skills and knowledge in dentistry is a priority for Meera.

She originally trained as a dental nurse in London, then worked in Wales before returning to London where she joined the Parsons Green Dental Practice. Having started as a dental nurse she is now Practice Co-ordinator. The practice revolves around her and her soft Welsh voice.

Lauren qualified from the University of Manchester School of Dentistry in 2014. She completed her vocational training year via the Eastman scheme in central London.
Following qualification, Lauren has worked in practices across London and Surrey and has over ten years of experience providing all aspects of general dentistry.
She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and received a post graduate certificate in Health Professions Education from UCL. Lauren has a friendly, calming nature and enjoys treating anxious patients. She is due to complete her Invisalign qualification later this year.
Dr. Othman Hameed

Dr Othman Hameed qualified as a dentist from King’s College London before undertaking a further five years of training tailored specifically towards the orthodontic specialty. Thereby, Othman was appointed as a consultant in orthodontics by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
He currently works as a consultant orthodontist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and also works in specialist practice at Parson Green Dental Practice on Saturdays. Othman has authored numerous scientific articles and has been asked to present internationally on many occasions. In addition, he is currently a sub-editor for the Journal of Orthodontics which is the official journal of the British Orthodontic Society.
In his spare time Othman plays cricket for Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club and enjoys watching football. However, he loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family and friends.

Outside of work, I enjoy the gym, travelling and exploring new foods, bringing the sam energy and positivity to every appointment.

Do you accept dental insurance?
Many of our patients have insurance plans through the workplace or through family plans. We work with all major dental insurance providers including SimplyHealth, Vitality, BUPA, AXA and Cigna. Let us know during your appointment and we can make sure that we provide you with the correct paperwork so your claim can be processed to maximise your insurance benefits.
How can I make my dental treatment more affordable?
Our experienced clinicians always use the newest techniques and premium materials to ensure our work has the longest lifetime possible to offer you the best value. We can help make any larger plans more affordable by spreading out any fees over 12 months in an interest free plan. Just ask our team during your appointment for further details.
